I have a 1983 Mercury
Capri with a 1969 351 Windsor, stroked to a 383. Recently, I went to a
local machine shop to see if they could repair some old busted heads I
had and they had just received a shipment of RHS heads for small block
fords. The owner made me a good deal since they were a new product line
and I purchased the 215's assembled.
On my first visit
to the track I ran 12.41 at 97 mph. After some minor tuning, I
ran a 10.72 at 118 mph as I dusted a Mustang
owner that had been giving me crap about my car. The RHS™ head
are a great bang for the buck, now I just wish I had the CNC version.

Imagine
my surprise to be reading Hot Rod magazine while on vacation and
see an ad for RHS! My 67 Mustang GT (awaiting restoration) has a
set of fully worked heads from the RHS machine shop (new valves
with a multi-angle valve job, screw-in rocker studs, new springs,
and some mild port work), and one of the first "Competition
Cams" camshafts ever sold for a small block Ford. I still remember
the day I picked them up and couldn't wait to get them re-installed
on the car.
It is
awesome to see that such a great name from the past is back with
a vengence!! When I start the Mustang restoration in the winter,
I'll be looking to RHS for the heads!

I bought
these heads because I've heard some great thing about them, and
now that I got them on my chevy I know they are great Heads, more
power for me since i have put them on, and these aluminum heads
just make my engine bay look so great.
These RHS SBC Aluminum heads looks so good and gave me a noticeable
increase in power over Dart Iron Eagle. The machine work is great
on these heads, so now I am faster and my engine looks better.
I am amazed in how much power gain these heads did for me. Now I
sling my passengers to the back of ther seat.

I have been
using these heads and the cast iron version (actually have five
sets currently) in my World Championship and Record setting Xtreme
Street and EZ Street Corvette I have been running the last 5 years.

Hello, I have
a '70 Nova with a full feature in the current/April 2006 issue of
Popular Hot Rodding. I'm using a pair of RHS aluminum heads for
a 383 I build, and it makes mention of this in the text. So I just
wanted to let you know I was very pleased with the product, and
I would use them again.

Hi,
I recently purchased a set of 23 235cc sbc 64cc chamber heads from
one of your suppliers. I am very happy with them.
Thanks Chad
Dear
RHS,
On your recent product flyer, #35004 cylinder head for the Small
Block Ford is rated as 325 - 400 hp. On a 347 built here at 10.5
to 1 compression, with a COMP Cams #35-518-8, Performer RPM Air
Gap manifold, 750 Holley, 1-3/4" headers, it delivered 420.8
@ 5500 rpm. Peak torque was 415.5 @ 4500 rpm, however I think the
engine may have hung on longer if the cam was at 110 degrees lobe
separation.
This is a very good cylinder head on the dyno and flows even better
on the flowbench than the Dart 195cc runner head with same size
valves. Torque did not drop below 396 ft lbs between 3500-5500.
All measurements taken with alternator charging, w/pump pumping,
and 3" silencers fitted.

Hello,
glad you’re back. I think the combo of RHS™, ProTopline™,
and Comp Cams® is truly a blessing. I have used Comp products
for years with great success. I have a pair of ProTopline™(RHS™)
180cc, 64cc, 2.08, 1.6 aluminum heads I bought a couple of years
ago. The heads were put on right out of the box, with no work done
to them. This was a 383ci small block Chevy with 9.5 compression,
a Comp XE284, Edelbrock RPM Airgap, Proform 750 carb in my 69 Nova
with 3.73 gears and TH350 w/2600 stall. It put the car at 12.2 @
111mph right out of the box. I was floored by the performance and
the motor pulled all the way to 6200 when I thought the heads would
have given up flowing by then. I know this may not seem extraordinary
by any means but I just thought you would like to know that my buddy
built the same type of engine, with pretty much the same specs but
he went with AFR 195cc heads. In his 67 El Camino, with same gears,
cam, converter, intake, and Speed Demon 750, he could only muster
a 13.0 @ 103mph and was wondering why he didn't have at least the
same performance as me or at least a higher mph than me. There’s
a difference of 400lbs between our cars and still to this day he's
says I went bigger on the heads than I was letting on. I told him
it was because of the low-end torque that my heads were generating,
but he still doesn’t buy it.
Thank
you for your time,
sincerely, Larry Long
